Outdoor Draperies

Fabric panels aren't just for your windows.  You can create a wonderful retreat on the outdoors.  Look at this stunning backyard of one of my customers. She had her deck waterproofed so the underneath would stay dry and then had the hot tub and fireplace constructed.  It is just beautiful.

I made the draperies from outdoor friendly fabric she supplied.  They hang from grommets and can be easily drawn for privacy.  The drapery fabric adds softness and color to contrast the wood and brick surfaces.

Fabric can add color and texture to your outdoor spaces, too.

Thanks for stopping by!

Celebrating 15 Years!

It is amazing to me that I've been in business now for 15 years!

The first window treatment that I made which wasn't my own was a set of swags and jabots for a bay window.  What an ambitious undertaking!  I think my friend's husband was a little unsure of me given the number of times I went to her house to measure and fit.  It turned out pretty and I've done many more bays since.  I've also learned so much over the years through formal education in the window treatment industry and of course, on my own.

Please click on "Portfolio" while you are visiting to see just a few of my window treatments.

The draperies on this beautiful rod easily draw across a very large door.

Drapery panels have been the 'it' thing for years now whether they are stationery or to draw.  Valances are also back in fashion.  We can do something simple or more elaborate depending on what your windows need for that finishing touch.

Thank you so much for your support of the last few years.  I look forward to making many more pretty and functional treatments.

Wonderful New Fabrics

UPS brought me some lovely goodies!  I love going through new fabric books and imagining what they can look like in someone's home.  Here are a few of the gorgeous new fabrics:

I'm delighted to see so many prints back in the Kasmir Fabrics line.  They have organized their books with many companion fabrics include in the same book as the prints for easy matching.  Of course, we can always look at other lines for companion fabrics, too.
